The University of Samarra Council holds its third open session
Under the chairmanship of the president of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf, and in the presence of the members of the Council, the University of Samarra Council held its third open session, Sunday, 11/22/2020.
During the session, many aspects were discussed, including discussion of the establishment of the Translation Department / College of Arts because of its importance for the city and society. Also, the scientific promotions for Prof. Dr. (Firas Madallah Majeed) and the promotion of Prof Dr. (Ahmed Hussein Ali) from the title of (assistant professor) to the title of (professor). The president of the university also emphasized the topic of the (Master Sheet) and on his part, he directed the formation of sub-committees for colleges to follow up (Master Sheet). Also, the Council’s approval of requests for (academic postponement) was obtained for the second time for some graduate students in the College of Education.
