Meeting of the President of the University of Samarra with media staff
Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf, President of Samarra University, chaired a meeting that included the media staff department at the presidency and directors of the media division in the colleges and websites.
In the presence of the VP for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, Dr. Ghassan Faris Attia, the Director of the Computer and Informatics Center at the Presidency, Professor Khaled Saeed, and the Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Presidency of Samarra University Mrs. Sarwa Median.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University welcomed the attendees and emphasized the necessity of preparing and qualifying media staff at the university through holding development courses and developing an action plan and coordination between the Colleges Media Division and the Media Department at the University Presidency.
Emphasize the promotion and marketing of official news, and discuss strengths and weaknesses points. Also, a media program for the year 2021 was discussed with intensive efforts and the development of the official website of our university. The VP for scientific affairs emphasized that the lectures would be uploaded electronically in the coming days.
The attendees presented their opinions and the problems facing their work, while the Director of the Computer and Informatics Center pointed out the most important materials that should be added to this site, and the meeting reported several recommendations, including preparing training courses for academic media, activating sites, intensifying efforts, raising lectures electronically, and raising the status of the University of Samarra among the corresponding universities.
