Samarra University opens an administrative extension according to the Abbasid style

 

Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi al-Samarrai – President of Samarra University – inaugurated an administrative extension, completed according to the Abbasid style that characterizes the university.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Prof. Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed – Vice President of Samarra University for Scientific Affairs – Prof. Dr. Zuhair Qassem Muhammad – Vice President of Samarra University for Administrative Affairs – and Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Fares Attia – Dean of the College of Education – and Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud – Dean of the College of Engineering. They briefed on the completion of the Construction and Projects Department of (Samarra University Presidency) the administrative annex consisting of eight large halls, funded by the university’s investment plan, Which is consistent with the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Department of Construction and its engineers, under the direction and follow-up of the President of the University, created the project, which took place under the supervision of the engineer “Alaa Khalaf Attia” within 180 days. Its facade was designed in the style of the Abbasids.

This project is part of a series of projects drawn up by the university administration with its medium-term plan to develop and expand the university to attract more students within its classes, expand the area of its building, and invest in vertical construction to serve the university, its infrastructure, and urbanism, which aspire to development and advancement.
