The Quality and Academic Accreditation Council at Samarra University holds its first meeting

 

The Quality and Academic Accreditation Council at Samarra University held its first academic session for 2022-2023.

Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai – President of Samarra University – and the Chairman of the Council for Quality and Academic Accreditation, chaired the meeting, Prof. Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed – Vice President of Samarra University for Scientific Affairs – and Prof. Dr. Zuhair Qasim Muhammad – Vice President of Samarra University for Administrative Affairs – and Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Fares Attia -Dean of the College of Education-, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud -Dean of the College of Engineering-, Assistant Professor Dr. Asmaa Issa -representing- of the College of Applied Sciences, and Professor Shehab Ahmed Shawkat -Director- Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the Presidency of the University attended. They formed the membership of the Quality and Academic Accreditation Council at Samarra University.

The attendees discussed the offers for qualifying and training staff for obtaining ISO certificates submitted by the Iraqi Society for Quality Management Systems / Salah al-Din Branch and reviewing modernization in educational laboratories, with an emphasis on presenting a report for field visits to educational laboratories in university colleges and reviewing the Readiness for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The members of the Council discussed urging all colleges to work on writing the strategic plan for each college, then complete the writing of the self-assessment report, and present the strategic plan for the University of Samarra, which comes as a continuation of the Council’s work, which the university has begun to activate its essential role in its development and advancement.
