The University of Samarra holds a workshop entitled (Be a human being and save a life)

 

Under the guidance of the President of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf,
And supervision of the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Professor Dr. Aiser Salih Muhammad,
The Pathological Analysis Department / College of Applied Sciences / the University of Samarra, in cooperation with the Nabd Foundation for Training and Development, held a practical workshop within an initiative (Be human and save a life) which aims to plant a savior in every home and create a student CV, and it is one of the most important skills that everyone should know regardless of educational and cultural level or even age group, as people are exposed daily to many cases and emergency injuries that need urgent and quick action. Until the arrival of medical staff or the transfer of the wounded to the hospital.

 

The role and the importance of learning first aid and how to deal with emergencies and their skills properly comes with two main goals, which are to preserve the injured lives and prevent complications.


The workshop was attended by the university president’s assistants, some of the college’s deans, and a group of students in the department. The dean of the college commended the wonderful efforts made by Dr. Laith Al-Nuaimi, the lecturer in the workshop and his colleagues, in delivering the message to our students, and in turn, urged the rest of the scientific departments to follow in the same efforts which started by the Pathological Analysis Department.
