The University of Samarra, College of Engineering organizes a scientific symposium on road engineering

 

Under the guidance of the President of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, and supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud, the Civil Engineering Department, in cooperation with the Department of Architecture, held a scientific symposium entitled (Roads Engineering for People with Special Needs) prepared by the Dr. (Raed Abdullah Hassan) ) in partnership with the (Ali Majid Hamid) online.

The scientific symposium started with an introduction explaining the need for architectural and civil engineering designs to be general and not limited only to the movements and activities of ordinary people.

The two researchers talked about the engineering aspects of roads and access methods within buildings and inroads, and public corridors.

The symposium mainly focused on enriching the Arab library with new topics and keeping pace with global development to serve humanity. In addition to paying attention to an important group of society and taking care of them, they are people with special needs.

The symposium concluded with a set of recommendations, questions, and inquiries from the professors and employees of Iraqi universities, as well as appreciating the efforts made by the researchers, wishing them continued success in the service of the scientific career.
