The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance holds its second periodic meeting

The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the Presidency of Samarra University held its second periodic meeting for the quality assurance and university performance divisions in all the departments and colleges.
The meeting was chaired by the professor, Shihab Ahmed Shawkat, director of the department, and discussed with the attendees some topics as follows:
1. It is necessary to adhere to the times specified by the Ministry to answer the official books and not to delay in doing so.
2. Adopting the working mechanism and the organizational structure sent to the colleges, activating all units, the divisions in the colleges are linked directly to the Dean of the college.
3. Expedite of completing the self-assessment requirements report for Samarra University and the need to complete the axes sent to colleges.
4. Preparation for the Iraqi classification of the quality of Iraqi universities from now.
5. Activating visits by the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department to colleges; To monitor the work and requirements of colleges, overcome obstacles, and evaluate performance.
6. Emphasis on documenting and scrutinizing future teaching research in the performance appraisal process and verifying it before submitting it to the electronic performance appraisal system.
7. Coordination with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance when holding any courses or events related to quality and accreditation that serve the work of the divisions and colleges.
Shawkat stressed that Samarra University, with the efforts of its staff, was able to achieve the seventh rank out of a total of (104) in the final approval process for the annual performance evaluation process for the year 2020/2021.
