Rector of Samarra University Announces the University’s Advancement in the Arab Ranking of Arab Universities
The Rector of Samarra University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi al-Samarrai, announced the university’s renewed advancement in the Arab Ranking of Arab Universities for the 2025 edition, issued this current December.
The Arab Ranking is based on several pillars, including the quality of education, the number and quality of research and scientific outputs by faculty members, in addition to creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation, as well as local and international cooperation and community service.
For his part, al-Samarrai congratulated the university\’s faculty members, expressing his satisfaction with the central and sub-committees working on the ranking\’s pillars.
It is noteworthy that Samarra University ranked within the top third among Iraqi universities, outperforming more than 40 Iraqi universities in this year’s ranking.
