Samarra University Participates in the Second Meeting of the AI and Digital Transformation Center
Samarra University participated in the proceedings of the second meeting of the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Center, held via video conference at Ajloun National University. The university was represented by Assist. Lect. Raqeeb Mahmoud Hassan, alongside representatives from various Arab universities.
The attendees sought to discuss prospects for research and academic cooperation among the participating Arab universities, exploring ways to enhance joint scientific partnerships in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation.
The meeting discussed mechanisms to enrich the center’s specialized scientific journal in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. This is to be achieved by supporting the publication of rigorous scientific research and expanding the base of academic participation, thereby contributing to elevating the journal’s academic standards and enhancing its presence at both the Arab and international levels.
In a related context, the university representatives addressed the foundational details and pathways for establishing the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Center, discussing the organizational and scientific frameworks necessary to achieve its strategic goals.
For his part, Mr. Raqeeb presented the results of a survey conducted by Samarra University in this field, concerning the current reality and trends of AI and digital transformation. He also provided proposals and recommendations aimed at supporting the center’s operations and developing its research and academic programs.
On the other hand, the participants discussed ways to organize a scientific conference emanating from the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Center. This conference would focus on digital transformation themes and aim to highlight pioneering experiences and exchange scientific expertise among Arab universities.
Furthermore, they discussed the mechanism for preparing a unified curriculum in the field of Artificial Intelligence to be adopted across all participating universities. This initiative aims to standardize scientific concepts, improve the efficiency of educational outcomes, and enhance academic integration in this vital specialization.
It is worth noting that Samarra University’s participation in this meeting came as an affirmation of the university’s commitment to strengthening its scientific presence in joint Arab initiatives, keeping pace with modern technical developments, and contributing effectively to building a specialized academic system in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.
