Administrative Assistant Launches Job Shadowing Initiative Across University Divisions

Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Tariq Ibrahim, the Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, has personally launched an initiative titled “Job Shadowing.” This program is being implemented across all university divisions to monitor workflow, enhance quality, and address the challenges faced by university staff.

The administrative assistant kicked off the initiative on Tuesday, April 8, at the General Secretariat of the Central Library, marking it as the starting point for similar visits to other university divisions.

Dr. Tariq reviewed the operations of the Central Library staff and its scientific resources, including books, theses, and dissertations. He praised the valuable services the library provides to students and researchers, and he also examined the challenges hindering the library’s performance, aiming to overcome them through discussions with the library director.

In another aspect of his visit, the assistant emphasized the role of the Civil Defense Unit in ensuring the provision of necessary civil defense equipment, including fire extinguishing systems, smoke detectors, and smart fire suppression balls, to maintain safety across university departments.

This initiative is part of Dr. Tariq’s broader efforts to improve the performance of university divisions, support staff, and engage with them in overcoming obstacles that hinder workflow.
