Department of Pathological Analyses Launches Humanitarian Campaign to Support the Elderly Home and Send Two Residents for Umrah

The Department of Pathological Analyses at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, launched a wide humanitarian donation campaign at the level of the college, the university, and the city. The initiative was organized by the department’s coordinator with active participation from the department’s students.

This initiative aimed to support the elderly home, and the campaign resulted in sending two female residents of the home to perform the Umrah pilgrimage. The initiative reflects the spirit of social solidarity and care for the elderly, aiming to bring joy and reassurance to their hearts.

The campaign also contributed to promoting the values of giving and volunteerism among students, and to strengthening their sense of social responsibility, reflecting the humanitarian and educational role that the university seeks to uphold alongside its academic mission.
