The Dean of the College of Applied Sciences Oversees Maintenance Work in Research and Undergraduate Laboratories
Professor Dr. Aysar Saleh Mohammed, Dean of the College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra, accompanied by Professor Dr. Ghassan Fares Atiyah, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, supervised the ongoing maintenance work in both research and undergraduate laboratories.
The work included the partitioning of the research laboratory, the development and upgrading of undergraduate teaching laboratories, as well as the provision of essential requirements such as fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and a laboratory safety cabinet (fume hood), in addition to other safety measures.
For his part, the Dean emphasized that these efforts are part of the college’s plan to enhance laboratory infrastructure and improve the quality of scientific and research performance. He also stressed the importance of adhering to occupational safety procedures within laboratories and ensuring the availability of all necessary equipment to protect students and academic staff.
