College of Administration and Economics Continues Its Activities within Sustainability Week
As part of Sustainability Week activities, the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics organized a scientific seminar entitled *“Artificial Intelligence, Energy Management, and Emissions Reduction,”* held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Salam Ahmed.
The seminar was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, as well as a number of faculty members, reflecting the importance of the topic and its relevance to contemporary sustainability trends.
The session was presented by a group of students from the department: Safana Mohsen, Haneen Ziad, and Abdulghaffar Mohammed. They discussed the concept of artificial intelligence and its key features, in addition to its role in improving energy management efficiency and contributing to the reduction of environmental emissions.
The presenters also addressed the challenges associated with the application of these technologies, particularly those related to misuse or inadequate optimization. They emphasized the importance of raising awareness and adopting proper practices to ensure maximum benefit from such advancements.
The seminar comes within the college’s ongoing efforts to keep pace with scientific developments and to promote a culture of sustainability among students, thereby contributing to preparing graduates capable of responding to future environmental and technological demands.
