The Council of the College of Administration and Economics Holds Its Third Open Session for the Academic Year 2025–2026

The Council of the College of Administration and Economics held its third open session for the academic year 2025–2026 on the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Salam Ahmed, Dean of the College, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.

At the beginning of the session, the Council Chair welcomed the members and extended his congratulations to Lecturer Qutaiba Mukhlif Abbas on assuming the position of Administrative Assistant Dean of the College, and to Lecturer Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Rashid on assuming the position of Scientific Assistant Dean of the College, wishing them continued success in carrying out their duties.

The Council also reviewed the directives of the University President, which emphasized the importance of enhancing quality standards and advancing scientific research, encouraging high-quality publication in international indexed databases, activating official websites, and documenting scientific activities. The directives further stressed the organization of specialized seminars and workshops for students, supporting outstanding students, and organizing lecture schedules in a manner that ensures the completion of curricula in accordance with approved academic plans.

This meeting comes as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to follow up on university directives and to develop academic and administrative performance in a way that serves and advances the educational process.
