Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdulsalam Ahmed, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, participated in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Administration and Economics (specializing in Administrative and Economic Sciences) in Iraqi universities, hosted by University of Basrah on Thursday, 12 February 2025.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdel-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah and Chair of the Committee of Deans for Administrative and Economic Sciences, with the attendance of deans from corresponding colleges across various Iraqi universities. The gathering aimed to strengthen joint academic efforts and coordinate initiatives among educational institutions.

The agenda included discussions on several academic and administrative topics, including the development of the educational process, the unification of procedures for assessment examinations, and the enhancement of academic coordination mechanisms between Colleges of Administration and Economics, in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the goal of advancing academic performance quality.

This meeting is part of a series of periodic gatherings designed to support institutional collaboration, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and elevate the standard of higher education in the fields of Administrative and Economic Sciences across Iraq.
