A Faculty Member in the Department of History Serves as a Member of a PhD Dissertation Defense Committee at the College of Education for Humanities, Tikrit University

Assistant Professor Dr. Hanan Mahmoud Abdulrahim, a faculty member in the Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Samarra, was selected to serve as a member of the PhD dissertation defense committee for the dissertation entitled \”Kazakh–Turkish Relations (1991–2016),\” submitted by Ms. Shatha Mohammed Ibrahim at the College of Education for Humanities, Tikrit University.

The dissertation aimed to examine the nature of bilateral relations between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Kazakhstan following Kazakhstan’s independence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. It explored the political, economic, cultural, security, and strategic dimensions of these relations, highlighting their significance in Central Asia, as well as the historical, ethnic, cultural, and linguistic ties shared by the Turkish and Kazakh peoples.

Dr. Abdulrahim’s selection as a member of the defense committee reflects recognition of her academic excellence, extensive expertise in modern and contemporary history, and her valuable contributions to historical research.
