Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs Reviews Civil Defense Preparations at the College of Education for Human Sciences

Professor Dr. Ziyad Tariq Ibrahim, Assistant to the President of Samarra University for Administrative Affairs, visited the College of Education for Human Sciences. He was received by Dr. Badr Lafta Najm, Deputy Dean for Administrative Affairs, to review the college’s civil defense preparations and ways to enhance safety and security within the buildings.

The visit comes in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to ensure the readiness of colleges to respond to any emergency and to follow up on preventive measures adopted in cases of emergencies and disasters.

The delegation reviewed the civil defense equipment, emergency exits, alarm and safety systems, and emergency evacuation arrangements. They also discussed with the college’s administrative and service staff the procedures in place to ensure the safety of students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel.

Ibrahim emphasized the importance of adhering to preventive procedures and periodically updating civil defense plans, praising the college’s efforts in providing a safe environment ready to handle various emergency situations.
