History Department Organizes a Training Course on Analyzing Historical Sources

The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Samarra, organized a training course titled “Analyzing Historical Sources of the Ayyubid State: Critique and Comparison with Other Sources.” The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Abdul-Karim Abboud.

The session opened by highlighting the significance of studying historical sources in academic research. It also illustrated the methodology of analyzing historical texts and linking them to their chronological context, aiming to achieve a precise scientific reading based on critique and comparison.
