The Council of the College of Education for Humanities Holds Its Ninth Meeting and Discusses a Number of Academic and Administrative Issues
The Council of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Samarra held its ninth regular meeting of the current academic year on Tuesday, July 14, under the chairmanship of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Badr Lafta Najm, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Jasim, with the attendance of the heads of the academic departments and their rapporteurs.
During the meeting, the Council discussed a number of academic and administrative issues, most notably the awarding of degrees, the extension of service for several faculty members, the formation of thesis and dissertation defense committees, and the amendment of certain academic titles.
The Council also reviewed official correspondence received from the College of Imam Al-Azam regarding mechanisms for cooperation and coordination between the two colleges. In addition, members discussed safety procedures within the College and instructed all academic departments to strictly adhere to civil defense regulations and safety measures to ensure the protection of students, staff, and public property.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council emphasized compliance with financial and administrative regulations, including the requirement that students\’ examination results should not be released until all tuition fee payment procedures have been completed in accordance with the approved regulations.
