Department of Physics Organizes a Field Scientific Visit to Tikrit University

The Department of Physics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Samarra organized a field scientific visit to the Department of Physics Sciences at Tikrit University, aiming to develop students’ scientific skills. The visiting delegation included a group of faculty members from the department, along with students from various academic stages.

The visit aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application. Students were introduced on site to advanced experiments in physics laboratories, including electrical, nuclear, atomic, optics, and mechanics laboratories. This provided them with the opportunity to directly handle modern measuring devices and advanced laboratory techniques, contributing to the development of their scientific and specialized skills.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation from the University of Samarra expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the College of Science and the Department of Physics at Tikrit University for the warm reception and the scientific facilities provided. An agreement was also reached to develop a joint vision for organizing future reciprocal scientific visits, serving knowledge exchange, advancing scientific research, and enhancing the academic level of students and researchers at both universities.
