College of Engineering Discusses Preparations for Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025

The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Engineering, University of Samarra, Assistant Professor Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed, chaired an extensive meeting with the committees supervising the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Technological Incubator Unit, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Dhiaa Abdul Latif, to discuss executive plans aimed at enhancing the innovation environment and supporting startups.

During the meeting, the Assistant Dean emphasized the necessity of concerted efforts to present the event in a manner befitting the college’s status. He focused on the importance of transforming innovative engineering ideas into realistic projects that serve the labor market and sustainable development.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Technological Incubator Unit reviewed the unit’s vision for nurturing student talent and building bridges of communication with relevant sector authorities.

The attendees concluded by discussing logistical measures to ensure the smooth flow of activities, which will include training workshops, scientific exhibitions, and success stories. Additionally, the event will feature an Entrepreneurial Market (Bazaar) and a Hackathon competition, aiming to solidify the culture of entrepreneurship within the university community.
