Crucial Decisions at the College of Engineering: The Dean Chairs a Meeting to Update the Consulting Office and Address Student Affairs Files
The Council of the College of Engineering at the University of Samarra held a productive meeting, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjed Saleh Mahmood, to discuss a number of pivotal files concerning the academic and administrative affairs of the College.
In the context of institutional development, the meeting featured an extensive discussion on the status of the College’s Consulting Office, with the aim of activating its role and elevating the standard of engineering and consulting services provided.
The meeting included a decision to change and update the Council members, which is part of the College’s plan to distribute administrative tasks to ensure a higher level of operational efficiency.
Furthermore, a significant portion of the discussion was devoted to addressing issues related to Student Affairs. Deliberations included reviewing requests for study postponement, establishing mechanisms for processing cases of cancellation of student enrollment (dismissal) in accordance with university regulations, as well as discussing cases of student failure and taking necessary measures to safeguard their academic future and provide a supportive educational environment.
