Dean of the College of Engineering Chairs an Extensive Meeting to Prepare for Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025
The Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Samarra, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjed Saleh Mahmood, chaired an extensive meeting in his office with the heads of the committees overseeing the organization of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, as part of the ongoing preparations for this prominent scientific and entrepreneurial event.
The meeting featured a detailed review of the work plans for the Scientific Products Exhibition Committee. Discussions covered organizational mechanisms, cost-effectiveness, and the nature of the scientific projects to be presented by various departments. Furthermore, the committee selected the most suitable venue equipped to accommodate these innovations, ensuring they are showcased in a professional manner.
In a related context, the Dean discussed with the committee responsible for the “Charity Market” (Bazaar) all logistical aspects, including site organization and the preparation of exhibition spaces. This included procedures for table rentals and ensuring a smooth flow of movement within the market.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed arrangements for the Alumni Forum and the presentation of success stories. It was agreed to set a specific timeframe for sharing each inspiring experience, emphasizing the readiness of the designated halls and their equipment with the necessary technical facilities.
The Dean concluded the meeting by listening to several developmental proposals submitted by the committee heads. He directed that participants in the week’s activities be honored in recognition of their efforts to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. He expressed his full support in overcoming all obstacles to ensure the success of this annual carnival, reflecting the prestigious scientific standing of the College of Engineering and the University of Samarra.
