Dean of the College of Engineering Reviews Completion of Modern Security Camera System

The Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Samarra (Assistant Professor Dr. Amjed Saleh Mahmood), accompanied by the Administrative Associate Dean, followed up on the installation and connection of the integrated security camera system. This project was executed by the maintenance committee in cooperation with and under the direct supervision of the Security Clearance and Follow-up Department.
The work included installing and activating (78) advanced security cameras, which were precisely distributed to cover hallways, classrooms, scientific laboratories, entrances, and outdoor areas, ensuring the security of all vital locations within the college.
It is worth noting that the new system is network-connected to facilitate continuous monitoring by competent authorities. Additionally, it has been equipped with a backup power system consisting of an inverter and a battery to ensure uninterrupted operation during emergencies or power outages, and to maintain the durability and efficiency of the equipment.
Furthermore, an appropriate, climate-controlled location was designated for the system, with regular technical follow-up by the maintenance committee to ensure it performs its security duties with high efficiency around the clock.
