Laboratory Accreditation Committee Discusses Mechanisms for Developing Technical Work and Qualifying Examiners According to International Standards

The Laboratory Accreditation Committee at the College of Engineering, Samarra University, , chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Hameed Latif, held an extensive meeting with examining engineers as part of the cooperation mechanism between state institutions, aiming to elevate the laboratory reality and develop technical work mechanisms.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee emphasized the professional necessity of accelerating the fulfillment of requirements for obtaining international accreditation according to the international standard (ISO 17025), as it is the primary benchmark for ensuring the quality of tests and the credibility of results.
At the same time, the attendees reviewed the proposed timelines for launching specialized training programs aimed at refining the skills of examiners in the fields of structural, chemical, and metallurgical testing, in an effort to enhance the cumulative expertise of the engineering staff and serve the institution’s aspirations in providing the most accurate advisory and technical services.
