With Broad National Participation.. College of Engineering Graduate Achieves Advanced Rank in Engineering Excellence Competition
The College of Engineering at Samarra University has recorded a distinguished scientific presence in national engineering forums. Engineer Yassin Rashid Hameed, a creative graduate of the Civil Engineering Department, participated in the “Excellence and Innovation Award for Civil Engineering Graduates in Iraqi Universities.” The event was held at Al-Mustansiriya University, amidst an academic atmosphere designed to stimulate the spirit of innovation among young engineers from various Iraqi provinces.
The participation witnessed direct academic support, as Assistant Professor Dr. Moataz Ibrahim Ali accompanied the graduate. This step embodies the Deanship of the College of Engineering’s commitment to providing moral and scientific support to its alumni, tracking their professional journeys to ensure their excellence in competitive fields.
These efforts culminated in Yassin Rashid Hameed securing 14th place out of 39 participants, who represented the elite civil engineering graduates from all Iraqi universities.
It is worth noting that this achievement reflects the high academic standards of the College of Engineering students and their ability to compete with their peers in examinations and competitions that require advanced engineering skills and knowledge. This further enhances the university’s reputation as an educational environment that nurtures talent and excellence.
