A Step Toward Institutional Integrity: A Scientific Course Reveals Early Detection Strategies for Financial and Administrative Corruption

As part of efforts to promote transparency and establish a culture of integrity within academic institutions, the Legal Affairs Division at the College of Islamic Sciences organized a specialized scientific course titled “Early Detection Strategies for Financial and Administrative Corruption.” The course was delivered by Sarmad Ashraf Hamid and Qahtan Ali Rzouqi, with the participation of individuals interested in oversight and administrative affairs.

The course aimed to highlight the most prominent modern mechanisms and scientific methods that contribute to the early detection of corruption and help limit its spread within institutions, in addition to strengthening the role of internal control and activating sound governance systems.

The course addressed several key topics, including indicators of financial and administrative corruption, tools of analysis and auditing, the role of technology in tracking suspicious activities, as well as reviewing successful experiences in combating corruption.

The event witnessed notable engagement from participants, with numerous questions and discussions that enriched its themes and enhanced awareness of the importance of early detection as a fundamental step in protecting public funds and ensuring efficient institutional performance.

This course is part of a series of scientific activities through which the college seeks to contribute to building an academic and administrative environment based on integrity and responsibility, serving the public interest and aligning with institutional reform requirements.
