Active Participation of Islamic Sciences Faculty Members in a Seminar on Intellectual Immunity at the University of Samarra
The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Samarra witnessed active participation in a scientific seminar titled “Intellectual Immunity and Its Role in Promoting Social Peace,” organized by the University Psychological Counseling Unit in cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences and the National Permanent Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance التابعة لمكتب رئيس الوزراء, on Monday, April 20, 2026.
The participation of the College of Islamic Sciences faculty was represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Khalid Jihad and Dr. Ayman Abdul Karim Ali, who contributed with rigorous academic insights reflecting the college’s role in addressing contemporary intellectual issues and enhancing societal awareness.
Dr. Jihad highlighted the importance of intellectual immunity as the first line of defense in protecting society from extremism and deviation, while Dr. Ali discussed its concept and the challenges it faces, emphasizing the role of educational and religious institutions in reinforcing it.
This participation reaffirms the leading role of the College of Islamic Sciences in supporting moderate intellectual discourse and actively contributing to the achievement of social peace through scientific and awareness activities.
