Department of Creed and Islamic Thought Holds Joint Meeting with Quality Assurance Unit to Enhance Academic Performance
The Council of the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra held a joint meeting with the Quality Assurance Unit as part of ongoing efforts to advance academic and administrative standards and strengthen quality benchmarks in the educational process.
The meeting was attended by the Head and members of the Department Council, along with the head of the Quality Assurance Unit. Discussions focused on several key areas, most notably the development of curricula in line with academic accreditation requirements, mechanisms for improving learning outcomes, and the follow-up of comprehensive quality standards in teaching and scientific research.
The meeting also addressed ways to document academic and scientific activities and activate continuous improvement plans, contributing to enhancing the department’s academic and intellectual standing. Emphasis was placed on the importance of cooperation and integration between academic departments and quality units to achieve institutional goals and elevate overall performance.
The session concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at supporting academic development, along with an emphasis on maintaining ongoing coordination and collaboration between both sides to achieve optimal results.
