The Scientific Committee in the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought Discusses Postgraduate Seminars, Academic Affairs, and Academic Promotions

The Scientific Committee in the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Khalid Jihad, and in the presence of committee members, to discuss a number of academic and scientific matters included on the agenda.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed the seminars presented by a number of postgraduate students, emphasizing the importance of directing scientific research toward topics that contribute to serving society and addressing its issues. This approach reinforces the university’s role in providing sound scientific solutions that meet societal needs and align with development requirements.

The committee also reviewed and discussed a number of academic promotion files submitted by faculty members of the department in accordance with approved regulations and instructions, with the aim of enhancing academic and research standards.

Furthermore, the meeting addressed the academic status of the department and explored ways to improve academic and research performance, as well as enhance the quality of postgraduate outcomes, in line with the vision of the college and the university in supporting scientific excellence and advancing academic standards.
