It focused on clarifying the difference between the terms Al-Qasitun and Al-Muqsitun in the Holy Quran by examining the views of leading exegetes, analyzing their linguistic and legal meanings, and highlighting their impact on theological and interpretive understanding.

The course aimed to achieve several academic objectives, including clarifying the linguistic roots of both terms, highlighting the semantic differences between them in the Quran, compiling the interpretations of major scholars, linking linguistic meaning with legal meaning, and developing students’ interpretive skills.

The course covered several key topics, including linguistic roots and meanings, Al-Qasitun in the Quran, Al-Muqsitun in the Quran, the subtle differences between the two terms, and their theological and educational implications.

The course resulted in important academic outcomes, most notably enabling students to accurately distinguish between the two terms, understand related Quranic texts, and recall the interpretations of scholars on the subject.
