Department of Creed Discusses Al-Bayqūniyyah in a Scientific Course

The Department of Creed and Islamic Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, organized a scientific course entitled “Explanation of Al-Bayqūniyyah by Sheikh Umar Al-Bayqūni.” The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Abbas Yaseen and Assistant Lecturer Ghassan Kawan.

The course focused on a detailed explanation of Al-Bayqūniyyah, authored by Umar al-Bayquni, and aimed to introduce students to the science of Hadith by clarifying its terminology and classifications as presented in the poem.

At the conclusion of the course, students gained valuable knowledge in the field of Hadith studies. They were also granted a scholarly ijazah (authorization) in its explanation, with a chain of transmission tracing back to a number of previous scholars through Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Abbas Yaseen.
