Distinguished Academic Presence of a Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences at an Art Exhibition at the University of Samarra
The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Samarra witnessed the opening of an art exhibition organized by the Department of English, under the patronage of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Badr Lafta Najm, with wide participation from students across different academic stages, as part of cultural activities supporting creativity and the development of artistic skills.
This event comes within the framework of the college’s اهتمام in promoting students’ creative aspects, as several heads of departments attended the opening ceremony, reflecting institutional support for student activities and enhancing cultural engagement within the university environment.
The exhibition featured a variety of artworks in terms of themes and styles, demonstrating a high level of creativity and skill, and highlighting the department’s efforts in nurturing and refining artistic talents within an integrated academic and educational context.
In a related context, the College of Islamic Sciences marked a distinguished presence at this event through the participation of Professor Dr. Junaid Sharif Abd, a faculty member who teaches in the fourth stage (evening studies) in the Department of English, where he presented a collection of his artworks alongside students, combining academic presence with creative expression in a notable way.
It is worth noting that the exhibition was organized in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit and supervised by the Head of the Department of English, Professor Dr. Yasser Mohammed Saleh, as part of the college’s direction toward supporting student initiatives and enhancing the role of extracurricular activities in building a stimulating academic environment.
