Dr. Dina Falah Ahmed Participates in a Master\\’s Thesis Defense at the Iraqi University

Assistant Professor Dr. Dina Falah Ahmed, a faculty member in the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, participated as a member of the Master\\\’s thesis defense committee held at the College of Education for Women at the Iraqi University. The thesis was entitled: “Al-Fawa’id Al-La’iha min Ma‘ani Al-Fatihah by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Jama‘ah (d. 733 AH), from the Thirty-Fourth Benefit to Its Conclusion: Presentation and Study,” submitted by the student Noor Asaad Mohammed Addai to the Council of the College of Education for Women, Iraqi University, as part of the requirements for obtaining a Master\\\’s degree in the specialization of Quranic Sciences, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Jubouri.

The thesis aimed to examine and present the illuminating insights found in Ibn Jama‘ah’s interpretation of Surah Al-Fatihah, uncovering their scholarly, intellectual, and exegetical dimensions. It also sought to highlight the knowledge-based contributions embedded within these discussions, which enrich Quranic studies, in addition to demonstrating the scholarly efforts and academic standing of Imam Ibn Jama‘ah in serving the Islamic intellectual heritage.

Dr. Dina Falah Ahmed’s participation reflects the distinguished academic presence of the faculty members of the College of Islamic Sciences and their active contribution to postgraduate research discussions, thereby strengthening scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities and enhancing the quality of academic research.
