Dr. Kamal Abdul Fattah Hassan Supervises the Defense of a Master’s Thesis at the College of Education
As part of academic cooperation among the university’s colleges, Professor Dr. Kamal Abdul Fattah Hassan, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, supervised the master’s thesis entitled “Transformations of Elegy in the Abbasid Era during the Seventh Century AH,” submitted by the student Amir Hani Hussein in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education.
The thesis included a study of the artistic and intellectual transformations witnessed by elegiac poetry in the Abbasid era during the seventh century AH, through analyzing literary texts within their historical and critical contexts. It also revealed the most prominent stylistic and thematic features that distinguished this poetic genre, as well as the impact of political, social, and cultural changes on its development.
Dr. Abdul Fattah’s supervision of this thesis reflects his scientific presence and contribution to supporting postgraduate studies and scientific research, in a way that strengthens academic cooperation among the university’s colleges and enriches the scientific research movement with rigorous and specialized studies.
