Sharia Department Council Discusses Ways to Advance the Educational Process and Enhance Academic Rigor
The Council of the Department of Sharia at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, held a meeting attended by the Head of the Department and faculty members to discuss a range of academic and administrative issues aimed at developing the educational process within the department.
The meeting commenced with welcoming remarks, followed by a review of the agenda, which included monitoring the progress of the current academic semester and emphasizing adherence to the approved curricula. Discussions also focused on mechanisms to enhance students’ academic performance and strengthen their research skills.
The council further explored ways to develop academic curricula in line with higher education requirements, in addition to organizing scientific activities such as seminars and workshops that contribute to developing students’ capabilities and broadening their academic perspectives in the field of Islamic Sharia.
Administrative aspects related to examinations and assessment mechanisms were also addressed, with an emphasis on the importance of providing a suitable educational environment that supports achieving optimal outcomes.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the council issued several recommendations aimed at supporting the educational process and improving the level of academic performance within the department, reaffirming their commitment to quality and excellence in educational outcomes.
