Samarra rectorship Holds Meeting with Indonesian Gadjah Mada University, Ranked in Shanghai Global Ranking, to Initiate Joint Practical Cooperation Agreement

The rectorship of the University of Samarra held an online meeting with Indonesia’s Gadjah Mada University, one of the universities ranked in the Shanghai Global Ranking, in an effort to enhance the university’s academic and international relations and expand the horizons of scientific and research cooperation with global universities.
The University of Samarra team was headed by Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarra’i, the University President, in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, and the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Tariq Ibrahim, in addition to the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdullah Hamad.
The two parties exchanged ideas and visions on academic and research aspects, discussing the rankings of the two universities and ways of cooperation in holding joint conferences and seminars, as well as the possibility of exchanging expertise in the fields of scientific research and co-authorship.
In turn, Al-Samarra’i presented the scientific journal issued by the University of Samarra, to discuss ways to develop it and enhance cooperation in academic publishing between the two sides, which contributes to raising the research and scientific level of both universities.
For their part, the Indonesian University team expressed their desire to build an academic and scientific partnership with the University of Samarra, which embodies the mutual desire between the two sides to build a sustainable scientific partnership that would enhance the presence of the University of Samarra in global academic forums.
