Samarra University Employee Earns MBA from Lebanon

Mr. Wadoud Tayoub Saleh, an employee in the Directorate of Internal Departments at the Presidency of Samarra University, has obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Business Administration at Jinan University in Lebanon. His thesis, titled “The Impact of Money Laundering Operations on Cash Liquidity and Their Reflection on the Volume of Cash Transactions in the Iraqi Market,” focused on understanding the economic and social effects of money laundering and the most effective means of combating this phenomenon.

In his study, Tayoub found a strong correlation between the rise of global corruption and money laundering, as illicit funds are legitimized through the exploitation of international banking systems.
