College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Continues Practical Football Classes for First-Year Evening Students
As part of the practical curriculum for first-year evening-study students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Samarra, practical football sessions continued under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Amer Mohammed Mahmoud. The classes are designed to develop and refine students’ fundamental football skills
The sessions included a series of instructional and practical exercises focusing on passing, ball control, and dribbling skills, with particular emphasis on the correct technical execution of each skill according to established scientific and coaching principles. These activities contribute to enhancing students’ technical proficiency and physical performance.
The classes also incorporated a number of supplementary strength-training exercises aimed at improving the physical abilities associated with skill execution, thereby positively influencing students’ mastery of the fundamental techniques of football.
These practical sessions form part of the College’s commitment to providing students with comprehensive academic and practical preparation, equipping them with the essential skills required to advance their athletic and professional development.
