Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education Organizes a Training Course on Employee Guarantees Regarding Disciplinary Sanctions

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Samarra, organized a training course entitled “Employee Guarantees in the Imposition of Disciplinary Sanctions.” The course was delivered by Dr. Majid Hamed Badr and Assistant Lecturer Muhallab Haif Hammoud, with the participation of a number of the college’s staff members.

 

The course aimed to familiarize administrative employees with the most common mistakes encountered in administrative work, clarify their legal responsibilities, and identify methods for avoiding errors that may negatively affect institutional performance.

 

Dr. Badr explained the concept and significance of administrative errors, highlighting procedural, financial, and functional violations, as well as the disciplinary, civil, and criminal liabilities that may result from employee misconduct.

 

Meanwhile, Assistant Lecturer Hammoud presented a range of practical mechanisms for preventing administrative errors, including proper documentation of decisions, legal consultation, continuous professional training, and the promotion of internal control and transparency in the workplace.

 

The course concluded with an emphasis on the importance of good governance in reducing administrative corruption and the necessity of developing administrative procedures to enhance performance efficiency and improve the quality of institutional work.
