The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra

” The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturers (Haider Sadiq Jaafar) and (Zain Al-Abidin Abbas Al-Tayf).
The lecturers addressed the importance of constructing physical and skill-based tests as a fundamental pillar relied upon by coaches and researchers to evaluate athletes’ performance levels and enhance their development. They emphasized that modern sports progress is no longer based solely on random observation or personal experience, but rather on precise scientific foundations that depend on measurement and evaluation tools to obtain objective results that support sound decision-making.
They also reviewed the modern scientific methods for designing tests and the mechanisms for their practical field application in line with the demands of contemporary sports development.
At the conclusion of the course, the Continuing Education Unit reaffirmed its commitment to organizing such scientific activities, which contribute to developing students’ academic and practical skills and enhancing their capabilities in both physical and skill domains
