University of Samarra reveals total campus area and reaffirms commitment to sustainable development
The University of Samarra announced that the total area of its campus reaches about 2,750,000 square meters (equivalent to 2.75 km²), located in a suburban setting that provides a suitable environment for higher education and scientific research.
The campus includes colleges, research centers, administrative buildings, student housing facilities, libraries, laboratories, sports areas, internal roads, parking spaces, and landscaped gardens that support educational and environmental sustainability goals.
The university confirmed that the master plan ensures an organized distribution of academic and service facilities with green spaces, pedestrian pathways, and designated zones for future expansion, noting that these efforts are part of its strategy to strengthen sustainable infrastructure and improve the quality of campus life.
