University of Samarra Strengthens Academic Workforce to Support Sustainable Education
The University of Samarra has announced a robust academic base of 1,208 full-time lecturers distributed across ten specialized colleges and the University Presidency during the 2025–2026 academic year.
This fully employed structure reflects high institutional stability, ensuring the consistent delivery of sustainability-embedded curricula and impactful scientific research.
The College of Education for Humanities (266 lecturers) and the College of Applied Science (184 lecturers) represent the largest academic clusters, serving as major drivers of environmental literacy and digital transformation among students. The university emphasized that this strong human capital foundation provides the operational capacity required to manage its green transition, sustain the 18.25% curriculum integration rate, and advance its standing within the global higher education landscape.
