The University of Samarra is making progress in Scopus containers
The University of Samarra is advancing to the third place on the new universities in preparing researches registered in SCOPUS containers
This progress came in the September report of Scopus containers, which indicated that the University of Samarra is making clear progress over most of the new universities in Iraq, as it ranked third after Al-Qasim Al-Khadra and Fallujah.

Typically, that the preparation of research follows the number of scientific staff, so the comparison is held between the new universities because the numbers of their scientific staff are close, and therefore competition between them over the amount of their scientific output
It is noteworthy that Samarra University ranked 27th among all Iraqi universities
