The University of Samarra – Teaching staff from the College of Engineering published a scientific paper in a magazine within Scopus containers

Assistant Professor Khaled Hamid Latif, professor Muhammad Abdul-Jabbar Hassan, and professor Muhammad Fadil Hassan, the two professors at the College of Engineering at the University of Samarra, published a paper in an international journal within SCOPUS containers titled “EFFECT OF MK AND SF ON THE CONCRETE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES” which talks about the use of environmentally friendly concrete additives such as metakaolin and silica dust in different proportions to improve the mechanical properties of concrete such as compressive strength, bending resistance, and fission resistance.
This experiment is the first time that these two materials are combined in one research inside Iraq, and it is considered a scientific and practical addition to structural and environmental engineering in Iraq in general and Salah al-Din in particular.
