The Ministry of Higher Education discusses the development of free grant mechanisms in private universities and colleges and the Excellence Fellowship Project
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research discussed the system and mechanisms of the free grant in private universities and colleges and the Excellence Fellowship project for the academic year 2022/2021.
This effort came during the meeting held by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority with the General Authority for Universities and Private Colleges and in the presence of representatives of the Private University Education Department. The meeting reviewed the directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, in this regard and many proposals and mechanisms for developing the course of the free grant and not limiting it to medical specialties and taking into account the increase in the number and rates of students and the conditions of some students from needy families.
In this context, the attendees discussed a new proposed project called (Fellowship of Excellence), which aims to include the creative and outstanding fellowship granted by universities and private colleges in various disciplines.
The head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, stressed the importance of completing the necessary preparations for the final exams in light of the university calendar timings, while the direct system for students was reviewed and the digital file created for each student in the private university education department, to reach the unified number and standardized documents, which is an important development in educational procedures.
The meeting concluded by deliberating on the controls for electing the National Higher Education Council under Law 25 of 2016.
