The Minister of Higher Education discusses with the Governor of Salah al-Din the support of university’s projects and the completion of the infrastructure of the academic institutions
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, discussed with the Governor of Salah al-Din, Mr. Ammar Jabor al-Jubouri, to support the university’s projects to empower academic institutions to serve the community and contribute to comprehensive development.
During the meeting and the joint press conference, in the presence of the President of Samarra University, Professor Dr. (Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai), his assistants, and some deans, the two parties stressed the importance of completing the infrastructure in universities.
The Minister of higher Education reiterated that university institutions and their research centers provide the governorate with the results of scientific research, especially applied ones, and create an effective environment in which specialists solve problems that impede the movement of development.
For his part, the Governor of Salah al-Din, Mr. Ammar Jabor al-Jubouri, confirmed that the governorate administration continues to support universities, colleges, and institutes, and allocate the necessary funds within the regional development plan to cover the paths of expansion in institutions of higher education and community service.
On the other hand, al-Samarrai said that Samarra University is working hard to produce the largest number of scientific and academic publications that serve the scientific process of our university, the governorate, and the city of Samarra.
