A research team from our university achieves a new scientific achievement
The research team; Mr. Diaa Wissam Kamel Al-Saadoun / master’s student in the Department of Biology – College of Education – the University of Samarra and the two supervisors, Prof. Dr. Fikret Majid Hassan, the faculty in the Department of Biology- College of Education for Female – University of Baghdad, and Assistant Professor Dr. Wael Muhammad Mahdi, Associate Dean For Scientific Affairs, graduate Studies and Teaching in the Department of Biotechnology – College of Applied Sciences – University of Samarra, they achieved a new achievement represented by obtaining acceptance to publish their research tagged: (Assessment of the quality of Diyala River water using the total evidence of pollution OIP) in the Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Sciences affiliated to the College of Engineering Agriculture – University of Baghdad, a prestigious journal located within the international repositories Scopus and Clarivate, and this achievement complements the series of achievements of the research team in registration new types of algae after their diagnosis in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
It is worth noting that these sorts are registered for the first time in Iraq. For their unlimited moral support to raise the level of the educational institution and advance the University of Samarra and its entry into the field of scientific competition with its counterparts from other Iraqi universities.
