Oxidative stress and the effect of psychological stress on antioxidant levels, in a symposium at the University of Samarra

 

The College of Applied Sciences at Samarra University organized a scientific symposium on “Oxidative Stress and the Effect of Psychological Stress on Antioxidant Levels.”
The symposium was presented by:
Dr Sura Samir Mohamed
Dr Wassan Abdel Moneim Taha
The symposium clarified the definition of oxidative stress as a state of imbalance in the system of oxidants and antioxidants towards the production of more oxidizing factors, which reflects the imbalance between the systemic manifestations of reactive oxygen species and the ability of the biological system to detoxify the intermediate reaction quickly or Repair the resulting damage.
