Two faculty members from the University of Samarra Participate in the Conference on Modern Trends in Administrative and Financial Digitalization at Tikrit University
Dr. Mohammed Hamid Majeed, a faculty member at the College of Administration and Economics, and Assist. Lect. Waleed Sameer Hammoud, Director of the Internal Control and Auditing Department at the Rectorship of the University of Samarra, participated in the proceedings of the scientific conference at Tikrit University.
The conference was organized on Wednesday and Thursday, corresponding to December 17-18, under the title “Modern Trends in Administrative and Financial Digitalization According to the Financial Inclusion Perspective of the Central Bank of Iraq.”
The participation of the two researchers consisted of a joint research paper titled “The Impact of Electronic Auditing in Reducing Digital Transformation Risks: An Applied Research at the University of Samarra.” It aimed to demonstrate the role of electronic auditing in employing digital transformation support technologies, reveal the role of electronic auditing in reducing data security and confidentiality risks, and highlight the contribution of electronic auditing in managing digital transformation risks.
In their study, the researchers concluded that electronic auditing contributes to supporting the digital transformation of institutions by improving the quality of financial control and enhancing data reliability. Additionally, it plays a role in enhancing cybersecurity and reducing technical risks by evaluating the effectiveness of security controls, identifying system vulnerabilities, and using advanced analytical tools for the early detection of cyber threats and attacks.
In turn, the Department of Media and Government Communication congratulates the two faculty members on their scientific output within their specialization, wishing them continued success in their academic and research careers.
